Tonight we had a graded assessment sprung on us. Not good when I’ve done stuff all work with Illustrator at home.

So, tonight’s three hours was spent trying to trace the words “gill sans” and “Times Roman” with not access to tutorial or the like. PAINFUL! I spent about 45 minutes trying to get the “g” of gill correct. Bah! By the time the class was over, I still had most of Times Roman to trace. Luckily this assessment thing continues. Another night of frustration and a room filled with sighing.

I am definately taking my laptop next week as I’ve just traced a few letters with minimal diffulty on my home rig. My mouse must be better then the one in the classroom, or else CS5 is kinder to me than CS4.
