Electronic Design Advanced Finito

Okay, after about 8 hours of actual work, I have something that has taught me to use feathering and the gradient mesh tool.
What follows is the reference image and 5 images taken at 5, 7, 8 and 9 hours.  The 4 hour one was orignally posted a few days ago so I’ve not uploaded it agajn.

I’m fairly happy with how this has turned out. It reminds me of my quake skinning days where most of the detail is implied.
